Yes? Congratulations! You are normal! Your whole first year professors and guidance counsellors talk about "imposter syndrome." It's true. Everyone feels like you do. Everyone feels overwhelmed and stressed and like they are going to fail. Everyone.

Other people's outlines shouldn't be used as a replacement for studying on your own. They should be used to supplement your education. And to calm your nerves. And to reassure yourself you got this.

And they should be used to help study for finals.

Work Smarter, Not Harder.

Yes? Yea, you should probably use outlines.

Maybe you aren't lazy. Maybe you're just overworked, tired, and too damn busy to write your own outlines. Maybe you aren't great at organization. Maybe you don't want to write one. Maybe you hate your computer so much if you have to look at Microsoft Word one more time you'll scream and go on a rampage.

There's no good reason other people's outlines can't be your outline source. Why can't they be? Because a professor says so? That's a terrible reason.

Yes? Welcome to law school. No where else on earth will you pay someone to treat you like an idiot. Well, some places you might, but usually not in higher education.

Law school is a unique place. Filled with knowledge you will never use again and professors who act put out to have to teach. Despite that literally being their job, a job you are paying them astronomical amounts of money you don't have to do.

Use outlines to fill in the gaps your professors can not or will not fill.
